Ladd Bauer is a physician ethicist, radio host and essayist. He is an associate editor of the journal of alternative and complementary medicine. His consulting practice is based in part on the principles of slow medicine. His current project explores how our cultural blind spots obscure the effect of medical choices on our shared environment, economy and spirit.
